Collection: Pillows

Pillows

The right pillow keeps your head and neck in line with your spine, so it matters almost as much as your mattress. We stock 11 pillows from Dreamland and Slumberzone, priced from $71 to $154, including contour, latex, gel, silk-blend and adjustable designs.

Which pillow is best for my sleeping position?

  • Side: A higher, firmer pillow that fills the gap between ear and shoulder, Relaxa L300 (tall profile), Reviva Align (about 14 cm loft)
  • Back: Medium height with support under the neck, Relaxa M200 (medium profile), Countour Classic
  • Stomach, or you like a low pillow: A low profile so your neck doesn't bend back, Reviva Bio Curve (low profile)
  • Not sure / it changes: Adjustable height, Adapta Adjustable Pillow (two removable foam inserts)

The best way to choose is to lie on your usual side on one of our showroom beds and try two or three pillows. It takes five minutes.

What is a contour pillow?

A contour pillow has a wave shape, higher under the neck and lower under the head. It is designed to support the neck in a natural curve, which many back and side sleepers like. In our range, the Relaxa C400 Contour, Countour Classic and Countour Gel pillows use this shape.

Do gel or latex pillows sleep cooler?

The Relaxa M200 uses hydrophilic foam, which is designed to manage moisture and improve airflow for a cooler, drier surface. Gel pillows such as the Countour Gel and Bamboo Gel are another option if you run warm. Latex, like the Purolax Latex pillow, is springy and holds its shape well. If you wake up hot, start with one of these.

How often should I replace my pillow?

As a general guide, every one to two years. Signs it's time: it stays flat after you fluff it, it has lumps, or you wake up with a stiff neck. Using a pillow protector helps it last longer.

Buy pillows with your new mattress

A new mattress with an old flat pillow can still leave you with a sore neck, so it's worth replacing both together. Browse queen mattresses, the Slumberzone range or our bedding.
