When is the best time to buy furniture on sale in NZ?

Many NZ furniture stores run bigger sales around public holidays and at the end of the financial year, but prices move all year. If you've found the piece you want at a sale price, the main risk of waiting is that it sells out, especially popular sizes and colours.

How can I get the most from a sale?

  1. Measure first. A bargain that doesn't fit the room isn't a bargain.
  2. Try it. Lie on the mattress or sit on the lounge before you buy.
  3. Bundle. Ask about buying a mattress and base together, or a whole bedroom from one range.
  4. Spread the cost. Sale items can be paid off with Afterpay, GEM Visa, Finance Now or Q Mastercard.

Are sale mattresses covered by the comfort guarantee?

Ask us in store about how our 60-Night Comfort Guarantee applies to the mattress you're buying. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act apply to sale items too.
