A pop-up trundle bed is a bed with a second, lower bed hidden underneath. It rolls out and lifts to the same height as the main bed, so you get two beds side by side when you need them and one bed the rest of the time. Our Snooze Pop-up Set costs $1,199 and includes everything you need to sleep two people.
What is included in the Snooze Pop-up Set?
- An NZ-made king single bed frame
- A single metal trundle that rolls out and pops up to full height
- A king single Snooze mattress for the main bed
- A single Snooze mattress for the trundle
Because both mattresses are included, you don't need to buy anything else except bedding.
Who is a pop-up trundle bed for?
- Kids who have friends to stay
- Grandparents who have the grandchildren over
- A spare room that also has to work as an office or play room
- Small homes where a second bed doesn't fit full-time
Pop-up trundle vs bunk bed
- Floor space used day to day: Pop-up set One king single; Bunk bed One bed footprint
- Beds at night: Pop-up set Two, side by side at the same height; Bunk bed Two, stacked
- Suits young children: Pop-up set Yes, no ladder; Bunk bed Top bunk not for under-sixes
- Mattresses included: Pop-up set Yes, both; Bunk bed No
Make sure you have enough floor space to pull the trundle out fully next to the bed, roughly the width of a second single bed.
